Kings Comix reviews its privacy policy periodically and reserves the right, at its discretion, to modify or remove portions of this policy at any time. Information Collection and Use
Kings Distribution is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Kings Distribution collects information from our users at several different points on our website.

Registration
In order to use this website, a user must first complete the registration form. During registration a user is required to give their contact information (such as name and email address). This information is used to contact the user about the services on our site for which they have expressed interest. It is optional for the user to provide demographic information (such as income level and gender), and unique identifiers (such as social security number), but encouraged so we can provide a more personalized experience on our site.

Order
We request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial information (like credit card number, expiration date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fill customer's orders. If we have trouble processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with the user.

Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. Usage of a cookie is in no way linked to any personally identifiable information while on our site. Once the user closes their browser, the cookie simply terminates. For instance, by setting a cookie on our site, the user would not have to log in a password more than once, thereby saving time while on our site. If a user rejects the cookie, they may still use our site. The only drawback to this is that the user will be limited in some areas of our site. For example, the user will not be able to participate in any of our Sweepstakes, Contests or monthly Drawings that take place. If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address.

Surveys & Contests
From time-to-time our site requests information from users via surveys or contests. Participation in these surveys or contests is completely voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose this information. Information requested may include contact information (such as name and shipping address), and demographic information (such as zip code, age level). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Survey information will be used for purposes of monitoring or improving the use and satisfaction of this site.

Tell-A-Friend
If a user elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the friend's name and email address. Kings Distribution will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the site. Kings Distribution stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email. The friend may contact Kings Distribution at Kings@KingsComix.com to request the removal of this information from their database.

Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and off-line.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the best encryption software in the industry - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything in our power to protect user-information off-line. All of our users' information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, our billing clerk or a customer service representative) are granted access to personally identifiable information. Our employees must use password-protected screen-savers when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter their password to re-gain access to your information. Furthermore, ALL employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every quarter, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers' information is protected.

Supplementation of Information
In order for this website to enhance its ability to tailor the site to an individual's preference, we combine information about the purchasing habits of users with similar information from our partners, Company Y & Company Z, to create a personalized user profile. When a user makes a purchase from either of these two companies, the companies collect and share that purchase information with us so we can tailor the site to our users' preferences.

Special Offers
We send all new members a welcoming email to verify password and username. Established members will occasionally receive information on products, services, special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present the option to not receive these types of communications. Please see our choice and opt-out below.

Site and Service Updates
We also send the user site and service announcement updates. Members are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about the service. We communicate with the user to provide requested services and in regards to issues relating to their account via email or phone.

Correction/Updating Personal Information:
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip code), or if a user no longer desires our service, we will endeavor to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal data provided to us. This can usually be done at the member information page or by emailing our Customer Support. Choice/Opt-out
Our users are given the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having their information used for purposes not directly related to our site at the point where we ask for the information. For example, our order form has an 'opt-out' mechanism so users who buy a product from us, but don't want any marketing material, can keep their email address off of our lists.

Users who no longer wish to receive our newsletter or promotional materials from our partners may opt-out of receiving these communications by replying to unsubscribe in the subject line in the email or email us at Kings@KingsComix.com.

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on our Homepage so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

TRUSTe is a non-profit organization that you can join to insure customers that you are ensuring customer privacy. They also will work with you to help ensure you have an accurate privacy policy.

Children's Privacy Policy
Kings Distribution is a general audience web site. Children under the age of 13 may not be able to access or use all of Kings Distribution products and services.

What this Children's Privacy Policy Covers
The Kings Distribution Privacy Policy covers all data collected and used by Kings Distribution. In addition to the Kings Distribution Privacy Policy, this Children's Privacy Policy provides further information and privacy protections for our users who are under the age of 13.

Information Collection and Use
When someone under age 13 attempts to register with Kings Distribution, we ask that he or she have a parent or guardian present in order to obtain parental consent. When any user, including a child under the age of 13, registers for a Kings Distribution account, we require name, email address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. Kings Distribution uses this information to create and maintain accounts, for research, and may use this information to customize the advertising and content seen on our pages. Under the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, no web site operator can require, as a condition of participation in an activity, that a child under the age of 13 disclose more information than is reasonably necessary. Kings Distribution abides by this requirement.

Information Sharing and Disclosure
Kings Distribution will not rent or sell children's personally identifiable information to anyone. Kings Distribution will not contact children under 13 about special offers or for marketing purposes without parental consent.

Ability to Update or Delete Information
Children can update or delete information in their Kings Distribution accounts through their Account Information screen. In addition, parents are allowed to review, edit, and delete information relating to their child's Kings Distribution account at any time. If a parent chooses not to allow us to further collect or use the child's information, that parent can send an email to Kings@KingsComix.com to request deletion of their child's account. Please note that information about a child may remain in back-up storage for some period of time after a request for deletion of that child's account. This may be the case even though no information about that account remains in our active user databases.

Refunds/Returns Policy:
We're certain you'll be happy with your merchandise. We take extra care to fully describe our items, including any flaws. If you have any questions regarding any of the items you are ordering, please email us at: orders@kingscomix.com before placing your order. If the rare occasion arises where you feel you must return an item, please contact us for return instructions within ten (10) days (by phone or email) of receipt of your item(s). Upon our receipt and inspection of the returned item(s), we will issue a refund or credit for your item(s) if returned in the same condition as it was when originally sent to you, excluding shipping/insurance costs. Buyer is responsible for return shipping/insurance costs, which will not be reimbursed for any reason. Returned merchandise must be received by us within seven (7) days of the date from which you contact us regarding the return.

When returning merchandise, please ship your Item(s) in the same packaging Kings Comix used to send your order. Be sure all cardboard slabs are taped tightly to prohibit movement of the books between them. Insurance and delivery confirmation of returns is entirely your responsibility and delivery confirmation is required if you return an item. Item(s) returned to Kingscomix in packaging other than our own or in packaging that has not been taped and sealed sufficiently will not be accepted. If you’ve any questions about this policy and how to pack your item(s), or if our packaging was damaged in transit to you, please call (915) 307-2063 before shipping your return.

Please note all "in person" sales (conventions, in office etc.) are final.  There are no returns, refunds, credits, exchanges accepted on "in person" sales.  The only exception is explained below in the Unrestored Guarantee section.

Damage Policy:
We take extra precautions to pack our orders to prevent damage and breakage. If despite our efforts your order does arrive damaged, please do the following: If your order was delivered by UPS, please contact UPS for instructions. If your order was shipped by U.S. Mail, take the entire order (all contents and all original packing material) to your local U.S. Post Office to file a claim. The U.S. Post Office will send the claim to us for processing. Do not repack and do not mail the damaged items back to us. This will void the U.S. Post Office insurance and we will not be able to give you a refund.

Grade Gaurentee:
All comics & item(s) are carefully and strictly graded by Kingscomix owners Phillip Rodriguez. He uses Overstreet standards to grade each book. Kingscomix does not guarantee that other dealers or CGC will grade Kingscomix graded comics the same. Under no circumstance does Kingscomix take a return based on a difference of opinion from another dealer or CGC. Customers have 10 days to return any raw comic they do not want. If customers are interested in CGC grades they should only buy CGC graded comics.

Unrestored Guarentee:
Kingscomix guarantees that only books described as restored are restored. Before buying please read the comments field for the comic(s) you are interested in. In the rare case you discover a book Kingscomix sold you as unrestored is restored Kingscomix will give you a 100% refund within the first 30 days. After 30 days Kingscomix offers a store credit redeemable toward any comic book purchase. This policy does not extend to any books that contain comments indicating any type or form of restoration. We consider books graded by CGC and placed into a blue, Universal holder to be unrestored. Customers are responsible for any expenses incurred in the discovery of restoration or shipping costs.

CGC & 3rd Party Grader Sales:
   Please note that although we do accept returns on our regular stock, all sales of comic books & Items noted as graded by the Comic Guarantee Corporation and sealed in the CGC protective plastic casing, or any other sales of comic books graded and sealed by a 3rd Party Grader, are final.

Time Payments:
In response to overwhelming demand, Kingscomix offers new Time Payment options to our customers. While these payment options are not available for every book in our inventory, they are available for the majority of our stock. The best thing about our new time payment plan is that at Kingscomix, we DO NOT CHARGE INTEREST at any time! Please read about our Time Payment options below:

There is a $200 minimum per order for all options. All Time Payment orders carry a 20% NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT. Options range from 30 to 90 days depending on the desired item(s). Please call (915) 307-2063 if you are interested in putting something on time periods that exceed 90 days or if you have any questions. All books will remain in our possession until full payment is received.
